I tried to use it for something it wasnโt advertised for so itโs partially my fault. I tried to use to hold wa washer discharge hose. The specs donโt say the size. This thing is tinyโฆ it really is just for a tubingโฆ and when I tried to return it they wanted to charge me almost as much as the original priceโฆ not worth it unless you know it will work

You gotta have this if you brew alone

This is such a cheap item, but makes a huge difference in the clarity of your final product. The bottling process is delicate in that you don't want to stir up the trub at the bottom while you are siphoning to the bottling bucket. This thing is sweet. It holds the auto-siphon perfectly still while you move the beer to the bucket and you can walk away to do other stuff. The trick is to lower it just enough that it avoids sucking up the sediment at the bottom of the carboy.
